5-6.
Commanders must accept risk when exploiting time-sensitive opportunities by acting before adversaries discover vulnerabilities, take evasive or defensive action, and implement countermeasures. Commanders and leaders can continue to act on operational and individual initiative if they make better risk decisions faster than the enemy or adversary, ultimately breaking enemy or adversary will and morale through relentless pressure. Commanders can leverage information collection capabilities, such as geospatial intelligence products or processes, to minimize fratricide and increase the probability of mission accomplishment.
