Across the range of military operations, Army units use the fundamentals of stabilization with the principles of joint operations to perform stability operations tasks, which lay the foundation for long-term stability. Effective commanders understand the joint principles in the context of stability operations as part of decisive action and in the context of how to use the fundamentals.
